This replaces those thin light gauge factory plates which offer minimal protection while out bush or on the beach. The 3mm mild steel option is perfect for those trying to conserve weight, & rarely do anything serious, but would love the peace of mind of added protection for beach trips & touring the Simpson.

*These protection plates do cover a portion of the DPF. If combustible materials i.e. dead grass, leaves etc build up on the plate in between the DPF this can cause a fire. Your protection plate will need to be checked and cleaned regularly.
