Stealth Flush Folding Maxtrax & TRED Mounting Brackets
Nothing beats the roof rack for storing your Maxtrax & TRED recovery boards while on the road. But we know trying to fit within your garage clearance can be a challenge, and taking off mounting brackets after every trip is a hassle.
Kaon's Stealth Mounts allow you to simply fold down the pins flush with your rack when they’re not in use, so it's as though they aren't there at all.
Features:
- Remove your recovery boards and simply fold down the mounting pins when they’re not in use.
- Stealth Mounts are as low as it gets: when folded they come in at just 4mm high (10mm high at the bolt heads).
- Near-flat design allows for items to be stored and mounted above when folded, leaving you with extra space to put your gear.
- Roof mounting frees up valuable room and keeps your interior clean, while the lockable system ensures your recovery boards stay put.
- Quick and simple to install.
- 4mm Stainless Steel brackets are powder coated in a durable textured matt black finish that will blend in with your racks and won't rust.
Roof Rack Compatibility:
This mount is compatible with the following racks:
- Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Series 3/4/5/6
- Not compatible with narrower 1376mm wide Series 5 & 6 outermost slats.
- Rhino-Rack Reconn-Deck
- Rola Titan MKII and MKIII
- Front Runner Slimline II
- Yakima LockNLoad™ Platform
- Thule Caprock
Due to their flush mounting, these can only be mounted in line with the direction of your platform's slats (parallel). Clearance to any lateral cross members also needs to be considered.

- TRED Pro, GT or HD
- Exitrax
We recommend Maxtrax Pins for Maxtrax boards, and TRED pins for TRED boards.
