The HD Accessory Bars (8173) form part of the RacksBrax HD range and are designed to work seamlessly across the entire HD Hitch lineup.
When paired with a RacksBrax HD Hitch (sold separately), the HD Accessory Bars allow you to quickly lock on or remove your full-sized Maxtrax and Tred recovery boards.
What you'll need
To complete your setup, you will also require:
- Maxtrax or Tred securing pins to fasten your boards to the RacksBrax Accessory Plate
- 2 x “T” brackets to transition between your roof rack cross bars and the RacksBrax HD Hitch

*These Bars can be used without an HD Accessory Plate (but with at least one RacksBrax HD Hitch) on platform-style roof racks, where brackets can be positioned to match the recovery board securing point spacing.
*If you’re running traditional roof rack bars, refer to the HD RacksBrax Accessory Plate.
*In some installations, the RacksBrax Accessory Bars may need to be used in combination with a RacksBrax Accessory Plate. To confirm the correct setup for your vehicle, consult the RacksBrax Recovery Board Mounting Reckoner.
