Shingleback Swing Away Arm - Driver Side

The Shingleback Swing Arm opens either to the left (away from traffic), or to the right, in a simple two-step process. First you release the heavy duty safety clamp, and then you pull the safety pin. The gas strut takes over and in a matter of seconds you’ll have full access to your vehicle.

STRONG STEEL CONSTRUCTION

Like the Shingleback Rack, the Swing Arm is an all steel construction, fully welded by a certified welder, shot blasted then top coated in a tough scratch resistant powder coat.

ANTI RATTLE MEASURES 

The Swing Arm has double anti-rattle devices to ensure a rock solid fit to your car’s tow hitch. The solid construction ensures it can be used with all Shingleback racks.

FULL COMPATIBILITY 

The swing arm is compatible with the entire Shingleback range including The Floor Stand and Trolley Stand. The swing arm will add an additional 18kg to the overall towball download rating when used in conjunction with any Shingleback rack.

Engineering Certification

Shingleback is the only vertical bike rack company in Australia to have third party engineering certification. Shingleback racks are tested to ensure product longevity, QA compliance and safety.
